 CIAO Auto cleverly represents ‘Combined Italian Auto Organisation’ which started in 2007 from a group of Italian vehicle enthusiasts in the Hunter Region and continues today as a non-for-profit organisation.

“Ciao” is an Italian word used to represent a very friendly and casual way of saying ‘hello’ or ‘goodbye’ amongst loved ones, friends and certainly when meeting new people to our club.

We have an extensive number of members that are predominantly from the Hunter and Central Coast region, though many also span across NSW, QLD, ACT and other parts of Australia.

Our members are the true essence of passion and raw emotion of owning Italian motor vehicle’s, much like the artistry, engineering, and cultural identity that defines Italy’s automotive legacy.

Collectively as a group we represent an array of Italian vehicles including motorbikes, tractors and pushbikes from all era’s such as Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, De Tomaso, Lambretta, Piaggio/Vespa, Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Aprilia, Abarth and several other vehicles that are Italian influenced, engineered and or designed.

We offer attractive benefits such as historic registrations and various monthly events including meetings every second Wednesday of each month at the Beresfield Bowling Club where we meet for dinner and drinks, followed for an hour or so with some formalities, presentations, along with mid-week coffee runs, various other club motor shows, events and festivals and including our famous Lago Di Mac Italian Festival which is held on the last weekend of every November on the spectacular foreshore of Lake Macquarie NSW.

There is a lot of fun banter and sharing a wealth of Italian vehicle knowledge in our CIAO Auto family. We are an all inclusive, diverse, multi cultural, all ages and all walks of life group.
